Your friendly local Kingston upon Thames choir is run by singing teacher Rebecca Thompson. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Arena and Guilfest to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Comic Relief,Sign2Sing and Missing People. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events! Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Rebecca tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music. Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir is great as it has given me the opportunity to sing again without the constraints of a formal choir. The pieces are broken down so you are able to learn them and you can also download songs to practise at home. Its a great way to release the stresess of life.
