Decorate a plant pot with us at Boston Manor House! Inspired by the House's grounds and the natural imagery inside, create your own terracotta plant pot and take home your own piece of Boston Manor beauty! You can even use the House's nature inspired designs or our magnificent cedar trees (planted in 1754 by the Clitherow family, from seeds that Joseph Banks gave to them) to make your pot even more impressive.

The Wind In The Willows Written by Kenneth Grahame Produced by The Arts Centre, Hounslow Bring the whole family along for a joyful, music-filled romp through the riverbank and beyond with The Wind in the Willows, a fast-paced and flamboyant musical adaptation of The Wind in the Willows . This lively retelling bursts with personality, combining memorable songs, bold performances, and playful storytelling to bring Kenneth Grahames much-loved characters vividly to life. From the calm wisdom of Badger to the unstoppable enthusiasm of Mr Toad, every moment is packed with humour, warmth, and theatrical flair. Performed outdoors in the intimate setting of the Walled Garden at Boston Manor Park, the production invites audiences to sit back, laugh loudly, and be swept up in a classic tale told with energy and imagination. Ideal for families, school-age children, and anyone who loves a great musical adventure, The Wind in the Willows is the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon or evening. A celebration of friendship, freedom, and fun, this is open-air theatre at its most joyful - after all there is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. + Chairs are provided but we recommend to bring a pillow or blanket to maximise your comfort. + Bringing your own alcohol to the event is prohibited. Designed especially for primary school children, yet richly entertaining for adults, this production places storytelling at its heart.With live folk music woven throughout, the story unfolds in a way that is warm, playful, suspenseful, and gently thrilling, inviting audiences of all ages to lean in and share the adventure. This production marks the first spring show in the exciting producing partnership between The Arts Centre, Hounslow and Boston Manor House, continuing their shared commitment to producing outstanding, high-quality theatre in this beautiful and intimate venue. Tim Staffell is a true musical legend. The original frontman of Smile, the band that went on to become Queen, a songwriter of rare depth and warmth, the creator of three beautiful solo albums, and a live performer who connects straight to the heart. Last year he sold out St Pancras Old Church. This year he brings his wonderful band to our legendary venue, and this one really feels special. Tim has played here before with Little Steam and with Staffell and Stewart, but this time it is his night. Front and centre, telling his stories, singing those songs, and holding the room in the way only he can. He is joined by an exceptional group of musicians who many of you will know and admire. Christian Parker, Steve Kemp King, Paul Stewart, Paul Gordon White and Charlotte Glasson are all familiar faces, and all outstanding players in their own right. Together they create something genuinely moving and memorable. This is the kind of evening people talk about long after the last note has faded. Explore the potential of botanical inks made from plants in an expressive, playful and nourishing painting workshop at Boston Manor House. Slow down and enjoy the beauty of natures palette with joyful mark-making and collage to create nature inspired artworks. This workshop is for ages 16+ The workshop will be led by Joanne Lamb, a local artist with a long history of working with textiles, specialising in woven work. Joanne is currently exploring her practice off the loom, focusing on an appreciation of the natural world and the handcrafted using basketry, natural dyes, and other hand-skills-based techniques to create one-off pieces that celebrate the gifts of the land, the properties of plants, and the innovation of ancestral craftspeople.
