I love this area because it is very central with great transport links! St Paul's Cathedral is right on the doorstep, and just 5 minutes walk away is the Millennium Bridge leading to Tate Modern, Globe Theatre and Borough Market on the South Bank. Also within easy reach are the Barbican, Covent Garden and the West End. The transport links are fantastic with St Paul's, Bank, Farringdon and Blackfriars stations within 10 minutes walk. The Elizabeth line, ThamesLink and DLR provide quick and easy access to Heathrow, Gatwick and City airports without having to change trains. Also, just 2 minutes away is City ThamesLink station which is perfect for short breaks in Europe when flying from Gatwick, or taking the Eurostar from St Pancras, which is 6 minutes away. I also like the flat for the great balcony! I have spent many evenings having dinner or a glass of wine on the balcony while enjoying the great views of St Paul's cathedral, especially at night when it is lit up.
