We moved to Foxtons from another agency after trying to sell our flat for 5 months without an offer. We had chosen the first agency because we had rented the property through them and they offered us a discounted rate to sell through them.
We moved to Foxtons having heard from friends that they were very efficient and we were not disappointed.
Gemma and Albert from the Shoreditch branch were absolutely superb from the first to the last day of our sale. They secured us our first offer within just a few weeks of marketing the property. They were tenacious and thorough in their approach to the sale. They always made themselves available to discuss important issues, even during their time off. They were always courteous and patient even on the most stressful days of the sale. When our buyer advised us she wanted the property emptied of all furniture and white goods one day before exchange, Gemma and Albert volunteered to do the job themselves on their weekend off to avoid the sale collapsing (which it surely would have done). Hopefully they won't ever have to do that again!
This seems to be the difference between Foxtons and other agencies. They go the extra mile and just do not give up. If their rate is slightly higher than some other agencies they are still worth every penny because the moment you hire them you can be absolutely sure they will get the job done and if they can't then no-one can.
