Extensive regeneration have brought new businesses, shops, and leisure facilities to the area – and there are many more plans in the pipeline. This, combined with improved transport connections, makes Croydon a magnet for young professionals seeking a vibrant and up-and-coming neighbourhood. Purley

In the borough of Croydon, Purley is just teetering on the edge of something new. There are plans to redevelop its retail parks, transform its town centre, complete the local passion project of a state-of-the-art Purley Pool complex, and harness the new homes market – we’ve got several lovely new homes available now.

Brent

In the borough of Brent, Wembley is the prime example of new build excellence. It had everything developers look for – local assets like the largest stadium in the UK, exceptional transport links and a strong regeneration plan. So new homes came naturally. The influx of property has opened up the floodgates, and you’ll find an incredible mix of local events, art, cultures, cuisines, shopping, pubs, restaurants…so much to see and do here.

This inspiration has spread to Wembley Park in the North, which is turning itself into a blossoming neighbourhood in its own right – read about Wembley Park on a whole new level.

Alperton

Developers have ventured south, too, where Wembley blends into Alperton for beautiful canalside living – read about it in New homes unveiled in a landmark North West London development.

Haringey

Haringey is home to London landmarks like the grand Alexandra Palace, iconic Finsbury Park and the immense Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium. Throughout the borough, there’s a certain North London small town charm, key transport links into the Capital and so much beautiful green space. These local assets are celebrated in the high-quality new builds popping up across Tottenham, Crouch End, and Harringay.

This influx of residents brings renewed energy, attracting businesses and cultural attractions, making Haringey even more of an exciting and vibrant place to live.

New homes we recommend: Clarendon, Vabel Lawrence, Priory Road

The commute and the community

You might have spotted a few common themes:

Easy transport links: developers seek out the underrated areas with big potential – and in typical London fashion, that means excellent commutes to London’s top destinations. So your search doesn’t have to revolve around what’s nearby.

Blossoming local communities: London is a land of constant change and evolution. Each of these areas have the right quantum factors to give their regeneration real momentum and draw the attention of London’s developers:

Beyond the Boroughs

While these boroughs are currently leading the pack, new homes developers have a way of shining a light on underappreciated corners of the big city that have a lot to offer. Let us know your priorities – access to work, proximity to green spaces, or a vibrant social scene – and we’ll find the perfect new home for you.
