The best way I can describe it is like one member said to me: ‘Tim - It’s like freshers week, every week, but better, with bands and stuff...’ and that’s how it’s been over the last 7 years since we created this group. It’s honestly the most fun we’ve had and I’m inviting everyone of you because something’s been happening for a while now and you just don’t know about it...It’s a Showcase of some of the Best London bands playing their music in London - and it’s also a MEETUP group, so you can watch the gig with a mix of regular members and newcomers. SUPERORGANIC is a culture lab where hip hop, spoken word and jazz meet high-vibration sound. On Friday 22 May, SUPERORGANIC arrives at Rich Mix with Ancient Sounds x Future Focus - a one-night live experience celebrating sound, culture and creative evolution. Curated and hosted by Fusion, this special edition explores the dialogue between past and future through music. At its core, hip hop acts as a living bridge, bringing the Ney (one of the world’s oldest instruments) and the steel pan (one of the newest) into conversation, creating a powerful expression of heritage, innovation and connection. The night features Palestinian Nay master Faris Ishaq, award-winning UK steel pan virtuoso Marlon Hibbert and emerging UK rap artist Biro, alongside multidisciplinary artist and educator Apex Zero, poet and lyricist Ay Hearts, and poet and author Mz B Ryan, as well as the wider SUPERORGANIC family of boundary-pushing artists. Expect live band jams, ciphers, performances and spontaneous collaboration throughout. The event also marks the next chapter of SUPERORGANIC’s forthcoming Spirit Level EP. Breath, Body & Creative Reflection with Burnt Orange Theatre and Amelia Glydon Join us for fortnightly sessions of mindful movement, meditation, creative writing and reflection. A chance to connect, reset and re-centre with other like minded creatives. Rooted in our love for movement, connection and low stakes playful expression; these sessions will create a brand new space unlike anything weve done before! Burnt Orange are so excited to be teaming up with Amelia Glydon for 7 sessions from February to May 2026. Each week will focus on awakening and reconnecting with your inner energy centres (Chakras). Through gentle meditation, sound bath and movement, well create space in the body and mind before moving into a creative practice of writing, reflection and release, allowing anything you may be holding onto or struggling to express, to gentle come to the surface. Our intention is to create time and space just for you. Time to get creative from a personal, inward place. Time to focus on something thats sitting at the forefront of your mind, or simply to arrive as you are and see what unfolds. This is about slowing down, listening inward, and bringing a sense of mindfulness into your week. Takea moment every other week to move, reflect, write and simply notice what arises can help gently release what no longer serves us. This course is open to everyone all ages, minds and bodies are welcome. Youre invited to take everything at your own pace. Whether you want to sit and write quietly, move freely, or simply be held within a creative community for the evening, you belong here. Yoga mats and props will be provided, but feel free to bring your own mat and a notebook if you wish. Maybe youre auditioning for drama school and want breathing techniques to help you relax and focus. Maybe youre a creative experiencing writers block or feeling disconnected from your flow. Maybe youre feeling stuck for ideas, low in energy, or curious about what might come up by stepping into a new space and environment. Wherever youre at youre welcome. Please book into each session youd like to attend. We use a deposit system, and the deposit will be refunded to you on attendance. Please note that as places are very limited, if you fail to attend without notice it will impact your ability to book a place on future sessions. A full refund will be available if your place is cancelled within 48 hours of the session, if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, we will be unable to process a refund. Amelias background is in theatre, with over 10 years of experience running workshops and directing, alongside her journey into yoga teaching. This course brings those worlds together, using mindful, spiritual practices to support reflection and release, while never losing the warmth, playfulness and smile that theatre, performance and creativity brings. Come down and paint your own masterpiece with the guidance of our resident artist. We provide the materials (canvas, apron, paint, and easel), the subject, music, and the bar to go with it (drinks not included). No experience necessary - we take you through it step by step. We use high quality materials with everything included in the price. There’s a maximum of 25 people in each class so that you get more time with the artist to perfect your masterpiece! So, whether alone or with friends, you can have a great time, and leave with your own piece of art to take home with you. You can also feel free to stick around for drinks after class!
