We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local Richmond and wider area. We are part of the pioneering Rock Choir singing groups. We often team up with the other local choirs to sing in concert in larger groups. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It's unbelievable and you can still join the choir. You've probably heard us singing in and around , or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Richmond Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Mood Indigo Events is delighted to welcome Welsh guitarist James Chadwickfor a special duo performance with pianist Terence Collieas part of the Jazz on the Plazaseries in Kew. Based in Cardiff, Chadwick is an expressive and thoughtful guitarist whose playing is characterised by lyrical phrasing, rich harmony and a strong sense of musical conversation. A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, he has developed a distinctive voice on the instrument, drawing inspiration from greats such as Jim Hall and John Abercrombie while maintaining a warm, contemporary sound of his own. In the intimate setting of Café Yukari, this piano-guitar duo format allows for subtle interplay, dynamic improvisation and close musical dialogue. The programme will explore a selection of jazz standards and classic repertoire, reimagined through the spontaneous interaction that makes small-group jazz so compelling. Join us for an evening of sophisticated, melodic jazz in one of Kew's most welcoming listening spaces.
