Simon Anckorn and Michael Dolovich formed in 1982 and for many years wowed concert goers with their exciting keyboard arrangements of popular music . An A&D performance is not only a musical experience , but an evening of relaxed humour with two gentlemen who have a magical chemistry in concert. Billed In the 1980s as Keyboard Sensations, Anckorn and Dolovich received critical acclaim taking their unique blend of music and humour to concert halls throughout the UK including The London Palladium and the Purcell Room on the South Bank. They performed on radio and television and were invited to perform at a Royal Variety Performance in the presence of HRH Princess Margaret. With family life emerging and the call of new careers, their professional partnership was mutually dissolved in 1989. But their friendship has never ceased and the occasional reunion is always hard to turn away. Throughout the subsequent years, Michael has carved out a successful career as an inspirational teacher of music within the nationally renowned Bromley Youth Music Trust and has continued to perform as a piano soloist. Simon settled into life in Hurstpierpoint working as a property professional, with the lure of music and the arts never far away , as evidenced by his frequent jazz and country music appearences. Michael and Simon are very much looking forward to their upcoming concert at BYMT.
