Armstrong's are first class in every way. Excellent flavour to all the meats, there's a good selection of cheeses and cooked hams, and the lamb shanks are enormous!

St Margarets Fair

Held once a year, it's a great day out for all the family - live bands, face painting and traditional games.

North Stables Café

A quirky place for a coffee and cake, while walking along Twickenham's Riverside.

The Aleksander

Under new management, this pub is a great stop off when walking between Twickenham and Richmond!

St Margarets

Close to St Margarets Station, this place is a cosy 'old man' style pub with a welcoming atmosphere.

The Turk's Head

Great pub, great food and a great atmosphere! They always play rugby on the TVs too.

Marble Hill House

This beautiful 18th century Georgian house is set in stunning parkland close to the Thames. You can go on a guided tour of the house for a fee or just enjoy the park for free.

During the day this place functions as a greasy spoon café usually full of builders, but in the evening it turns into an amazing, authentic, family run Italian restaurant. The food is to die for and because they don't have an alcohol licence, its BYOB!

"St Margarets has a pretty village feel within walking distance of Richmond and the River Thames. There is a strong community with street parties and fairs and lots of great cafes and restaurants. Marble Hill Park is a beautiful park right on the banks of the river Thames and next to the foot ferry which can take you over to Ham House and Petersham."
