I loved the space, privacy, peace and quiet when I lived in the flat. It's own front door and garden are a real boon, and the amount of storage invaluable. The sitting room at the front gets excellent sunshine and the position within a long terrace keeps the flat warm. The road itself is broad so there is no feeling of being overlooked and despite excellent bus services on Chepstow Road, this end of St Stephens Gardens is a 'no through' street, so not subject to traffic. In general the area is excellent for all forms of transport in all directions, and the flat is within a few minutes walk of tube stations as well as within easy reach of the A40. The area overall is fabulous - from the quirky vibrancy of Portobello Road to the sophistication of Westbourne Grove shops and restaurants, and more everyday shops and suppliers nearer Queensway. Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park is c10 minutes walk, with gyms available locally.
