Utilizing your experience and expertise, you will help architect, design, build and deploy solutions on new and emergent technologies that form the backbone of our infrastructure.
Tasks will include providing 3rd line support and day to day Server/network maintenance and administration along with working on a number of infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure and related technologies.
• Proven hands on experience of installing and configuring Microsoft Enterprise products as an implementer
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Solutions which includes Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, System Center Configuration Manager and Exchange Server.
• Strong knowledge of Virtualisation technologies – VMware & Hyper-V
• Extensive knowledge with Infrastructure Migration & Refresh. System Automation, Scripting and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Cisco Solutions which includes switching & routing, wireless, security, firewalls, and VoIP.
• Experience with Dell\EMC hardware such as PowerEdge, SAN, NAS and Compellent preferable & Backup Solutions.

Based at our Chiswick Park Headquarters you will provide 1st line technical support to Foxtons employees based at 67 sites across London. The calls you receive on a daily basis will be extremely varied; from staff experiencing technical problems with their Microsoft applications, the intranet or in-house client databases to requests for replacement and maintenance of hardware. Whenever possible you will resolve queries straightaway on the phone, but when the issue is more complex you will need to send one of our support engineers out to the problem.
Another important element of the role is managing our mobile phone handsets. You will be responsible for distributing phones to new staff members as well updating and tracking the details of all phones on our databases. You will be the first point of contact when there are problems with the network or when phones have been lost or stolen.
You will be dealing with very different members of staff, from Property Negotiators and Mortgage Advisors to the Directors, all of who will have different priorities. What they have in common is they rely on IT and phone technology to keep in touch with our clients so you will need to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Your role requires you to prioritise your time so you can offer an excellent standard service at all times.
Our in-house training team will provide you with all the necessary information and guidance you will need, therefore helpdesk experience is not essential. Career progression within the IT division is encouraged for high achievers.
