Foxtons' letting and property management fees
Lettings only management fees
Basic fee: 13.2% (11% + VAT)
Renewals (for first two years): 12% (10% + VAT)
Renewals after two years: 8.4% (7% + VAT)
What's included: A simple let-only service with no ongoing management, including marketing, pre-tenancy checks, collection of rent and more. The fee is a percentage of the rental price (plus VAT), and it decreases the longer you stay with us.
Property management service fees
1-2 properties: 7.2% (6% + VAT)
3-4 properties: 6% (5% + VAT)
5 or more properties: 4.8% (4% + VAT)
All renewals: 4.8% (4% + VAT)
What's included: Fees apply per property. Full property management service including a dedicated property manager, quotes, repairs and maintenance, property inspections and more. This fee is in addition to the lettings-only fee if you want a fully-managed letting and property service.
Short lets
Fee: 31.2% (26% + VAT)
What's included: Complete short-term lettings package, including an obligatory management service.
Tenancy Agreements
Short-term let fee: £225
Long-term let fee: £450
What's included: This is a fixed fee charged per tenancy. It covers everything needed to get a tenancy agreement in place, from vetting tenants to drafting contracts. For an extra £30, you can add an anti-money laundering and identification check.

How and when do I pay your property management fees?
What's included with your fully-managed letting service fees?
Choosing our combined lettings and property management service takes all the work off your hands as a landlord. We'll manage the process end-to-end, from finding the right tenants and preparing the tenancy agreement to arranging quotes, repairs and maintenance, and overseeing the check-out process. You'll have a dedicated property manager to call on and regular property inspections for your peace of mind.
You'll also get access to My Foxtons. Think of it as your digital assistant that keeps you in the loop, with real-time viewing updates, rent notifications, deposit resolution tracking and much more.
Can I reduce my letting management fees?
What's the difference between your lettings-only management fees and property management fees?
Our lettings-only service is a better option if you like to be a more hands-on landlord. We'll market your property, vet prospective tenants, do all the necessary checks and prepare the tenancy agreement to make sure your property isn't left empty. Once the tenants move in, you'll still be responsible for things like maintenance, repairs and managing the check-out process.
Paying our property management fees takes much of that responsibility away if you prefer to be a more hands-off landlord. Our combined lettings and property management service takes care of everything, giving you some added perks like a dedicated property manager, proactive credit control and access to a panel of vetted contractors.
