Swimming Academy lessons are delivered under the Swimming Academy brand and follows the Amateur Swimming Association's (ASA) Learn to Swim framework. This uses fun and games to take children from the first splash to full competence in the pool and will ultimately help your child develop confidence in the water. The ASAs Learn to Swim Programme guides your child through ten clearly defined stages and there's a foundation level to get babies as young as six-months-old started. This service provides sporting activities the use of fitness equipment and exercise classes. Babies children young people and adults of all abilities can use the centre. The service provides many activities and facilities including: purpose-built crèche large gym sauna sports hall precision cycling studio swimming pool with wave machine. You can telephone or drop in for information on activities. You will need to pay to use these facilities. You do not have to become a member to use the service but membership will allow you to get discounts on activities. You can use the service during opening times and set activity times. It is advisable to bring: a towel water bottle change of clothes and appropriate footwear. Website
