Surrounded by gorgeous fields giving you the "country feel" and an open log fire with sofas to sit on with a glass of wine in hand! They have the best dessert menu as well.

Trent Country Park

Beautiful fields and meadows and a delightful café in amongst the trees.

Go Ape

Swinging through the trees at Go Ape in Trent Park is a great day out!

The Cock Inn

Previously the Cock and Dragon, this pub is the place to be on a Thursday night!

The best café in Cockfosters that serves an amazing burger too!

Skewd Kitchen

This restaurant serves amazing Turkish food. It's great for a dinner date somewhere different.

Crown & Horseshoes

A charming pub in a beautiful area next to the New River. Lovely on a sunny day.

Chickenshed Theatre

A theatre catering for the local community with a great amateur dramatics group.

Enfield Town Market

Lots of lovely fresh bread (local from Barnet), pastries, Asian food and fresh fruit and veg, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

New River

A delightful place to walk the dog and plenty of pubs to visit along its banks.

Forty Hall

Beautiful grounds to walk around with free admission. The perfect spot for a picnic and you can also go into the hall and learn about the history.

Clock House Nursery

Gorgeous garden centre next to the grounds of Forty Hall offering top quality plants and seeds. It has free parking outside and is cheaper and not as busy as the other garden centres on popular Crews Hill.

My wife got her wedding dress from this lovely bridal shop - she looked beautiful!

A lovely little local French restaurant. I still haven't been brave enough to try the snails!

    Botany Bay is a hamlet on the northern outskirts of Greater London, and forms part of the London Borough of Enfield. It has a population close to 200. The hamlet is located in the centre of Enfield Chase, on the Ridgeway not far from the M25 motorway, and is about a mile from the railway station at Crews Hill.
