Interstellar with Roger Sayer
World renowned organist Roger Sayer brings the epic Interstellar film score to Carshalton Methodist Church to celebrate 100 years since our magnificent organ began playing.
Roger Sayer chosen by composer Hans Zimmer for his soundtrack to Christopher Nolans film Interstellar will perform a powerful space-themed organ concert.
Beginning with music from Thunderbirds, ET and Star Wars , the programme will major on the ground-breaking score for Interstellar , recorded by Roger himself. It will include a short film about the making of the Interstellar soundtrack, offering insight into the collaboration behind one of cinemas most unforgettable soundscapes. Youll hear first hand Rogers experiences working with cinematic greats Nolan and Zimmer and have the opportunity to ask him questions in a Q&A session.
Roger has been performing his unique Interstellar event to sell-out audiences across the world so this is an event not to be missed!

Step inside a state-of-the-art pop-up planetarium housed within Carshalton Methodist Church as we celebrate 100 years since our church building opened - the same year as the first liquid fuelled rocket flight laid the foundations for modern space rocket exploration.
Explore the planets in our solar system, the size of the universe, the earth, sun and moon and space travel. Perfect for all ages, with timed shows throughout the day, from 10.30am to 5pm. Tickets 5 (no booking fee). Book a specific slot.
