Collingwood College Productions Present INTO THE WOODS The story begins with a Baker and his wife who desperately wish for a child. Their quest to break the curse placed on them by a vengeful Witch leads them into the woods, where they encounter Cinderella, who dreams of attending the King's festival, Jack, who hopes his cow will give milk, and Little Red Riding Hood, who is on her way to visit her grandmother. As their paths cross, each character's wish is granted, seemingly leading to their happily ever after. However, Act II reveals the unforeseen consequences of their actions. The characters must face the wrath of an angry Giant and come together to protect their kingdom. Through trials and tribulations, they learn valuable lessons about life, love, and the importance of community. With enchanting music, witty lyrics, and a thought-provoking narrative, Into the Woods offers a magical and unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. Join us at Collingwood College for a journey into the woods where wishes come true, but not without a price.
