With a trail that’s more magical than ever before, see plants and landscapes come to life to reveal hidden wonders, where every path leads to a new discovery and nothing is what it seems. At our charming chalets, enjoy seasonal treats such as jacket potatoes, fragrant curries, classic hot dogs and an array of indulgent sweets, including churros, candy floss and warming mulled wine. New for this year, our marshmallow pits bring a magical touch to the evening, inviting you to toast marshmallows beneath the winter sky. Please note that Glow will be closed 24 - 26 December.

The Great Seed Swap is back! After the success of our first ever Seed Swap, visitors can join us again for the biggest collection of seeds we’ve ever had in one place! RHS garden-collected seeds, rare and unusual Plant Heritage seeds, specialist seeds from some of our plant societies and hundreds of packets from our plant centre. All details on the website. Step into the vibrant world of competitive fruit and vegetable growing with Pumpkins and Prizes, a new exhibition in the Wisley Gallery in the Old Laboratory. From florist ‘feasts’ in 17th-century pubs to record-breaking pumpkins the size of small cars, this exhibition celebrates the passion, persistence and pride which has shaped Britain’s competitive growing tradition. A trail inspired by the book of the same name along with the seasonal collection I love you all year round. The trail contains a series of activities that encourage children to learn through play, using the senses and engaging with shapes and colours to explore the garden in a thoughtful and playful way. You’ll also be able to step into the book alongside Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare, replicating some key scenes from the original story.
