“Lots of money spent on the area in last 12-18 months with the upcoming Olympic stadium only a mile away. Lots of trendy apartment conversions and terrace houses with development potential at bargain prices for London, although prices probably won't stay at these prices for long as developments in Stratford can be expensive so people are looking a little further afield now. Transport is great in the area with Plaistow tube station and West Ham (now with DLR) and Stratford in under 10 minutes by bus. Black Lion pub on Greengate is a great, friendly typical East End pub, great beer garden and bar meals.”

“West Ham, Plaistow and Stratford are all great areas to invest in property. It is so cheap at the moment but you can tell it won't last. There are some lovely Victorian houses and terraces in these areas that are just waiting to be developed! But they won't be around forever! Now is the time to get in and buy!!!”
