Edmonton is a hidden gem, which one forgets is that little bit further out. It’s amazing transport links can have you right bang in central in London, quicker than you can get down Oxford Street! With it’s amazing array of cultures, great eateries and good schools, it is definitely worth a look in.

I love Edmonton as you really have the best of both worlds here! Let me explain...you have the high road called Fore Street which runs directly into and out of Edmonton. Buses run 24 7 down this road taking you as far as Enfield on one end and Liverpool street on the other. Fore street is lively, busy and full of shops, restaurants, cab offices and three overhead train stations surrounding it, silver street, angel road railway and Edmonton green making it easy to get into and out of Edmonton. Edmonton Green shopping centre has a market and a wide range of retail outlets where you are sure to pick up a bargain! Edmonton also has beautiful parks and green spaces, take Pymmes Park for example, dating back to 1327 when William Pymme built a mansion here. The park was opened to the public in 1906 and been the most popular park of Edmonton ever since. The park includes bowl clubs, tennis courts, childrens playgrounds, football pitches, lakes and pond's and in the summer months you can be sure to find a variety of wonderful events taking place there. Whether you just want a quiet stroll to take in the beautiful scenery or a fun filled exciting day, you'll be sure to find it at Pymmes Park! Edmonton boasts 4 secondary schools and a whopping 16 primary schools! So as you can see, families with young children residing in the area need not to worry! Edmonton has a cricket club, a leisure centre and millfield arts theatre centre so as you can see, there really is something for everybody! I could go on, I hope you have enjoyed my snapshot of Edmonton. It truly is an amazing place to live! Don't believe me? Come and see for yourself!

Edmonton, a multicultural town, boasts good education where The Latymer school is one of the top secondary schools in the country. It is flanked by lots of parks and open spaces and not to mention the scenic views of the Lee Valley river to the east. I relish commuting via the newly modernised Edmonton Green Station which now accommodates travelers who need to use a lift and provides a reliable service into London Liverpool Street and even better the brand new layout at Tottenham Hale Station into the one way system towards Seven Sisters improves travel efficiency and traffic. Edmonton is fast becoming a very attractive place to live due to a magical buzz inside the newly renovated Edmonton Green Shopping Center with new stores like ASDA and JD Sports. The surrounding area is flanked with new businesses and restaurants such as Kirvan, Premier Inn Hotel near IKEA, modern two and three bedroom apartments opening soon on Fore Street and beautiful places of Worship.

A culturally diverse North London town in the Borough of Enfield, Edmonton offers a wealth of open space and green areas. Edmonton is located 8.4 miles (13.5 km) north-northeast of Charing Cross and has excellent transport links to Central London. You can meet your everyday needs at the shops in Upper Fore Street or at the Edmonton Green Shopping Centre. The town also has bars, pubs, and restaurants, cultural and sporting facilities, green spaces like Pymmes Park and a wide selection of schools. Once a predominantly working-class area, Edmonton has become increasingly popular among first-time buyers.
