Join us for a School In Action morning to find out more about life in the Junior School at NLCS. This event is for families interested in entry to the school at either 4+ or 7+ and is for parents only.

Matilda Jr. is a joyful, highenergy musical celebrating courage, kindness and the power of standing up for whats right. The story follows Matilda, a brilliantly clever young girl with a love of books and a determination to change her world even when faced with neglectful parents and the fearsome Miss Trunchbull. Along the way, she finds friendship, discovers her own strength and learns that even the smallest voices can make a big difference. Packed with catchy songs, largerthanlife characters and plenty of humour, Matilda Jr. is a fastpaced and uplifting show that showcases the talent, confidence and teamwork of our Year 7 & 8 performers. Performing in the PAC for two nights only, this is a production full of heart, energy and unforgettable moments dont miss it!

Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high quality Gicle prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Kate founded her business, Essoldo Design, in August 2020 and has sold pieces to over 30 countries across the globe and has successfully licensed herwork in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her best-selling first book Creative Abstract Watercolor was published in Spring 2024 and her second Creative Abstract Mixed Media in October 2025. Why not join us for a workshop and create your own work of art for your home? A bit more detail Learn to create beautiful botanical block abstracts inspired by nature Soak up the glorious colours of cherry blossom season and learn to create striking abstract botanical blocks shapes, one of Kates signature motifs. In this workshop you'll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative abstract designs in a colour palette of your choice. You'll learn various watercolour techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details, and accents of metallics. Youll use your own inspiration and Kates portfolio of floral/abstract designs and patterns. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists
