The Colton Arms is a great pub right next to Queens Club. It has just undergone a major refurbishment and looks so beautiful inside and out. There is a lovely beer garden, a great new chef and a wonderfully friendly team. They also have quiz nights, steak nights, deals on prosecco, brunch and a cracking Sunday roast. Young Riverscribes is a brand new version of a Young Company; a chance for anyone interested in performing and theatre making to have fun, challenge themselves and collaborate together. Young Riverscribes is a combination of classic young company skills sessions, and visiting professional workshops from partners including Drama schools, Casting agents, agencies and more. Sessions will support you developing skills and technique in voice, movement, character and text work. As part of the company youll be invited to perform at Burnt Orange scratch nights and upcoming projects. Who are we looking for? We are looking for anyone aged 14-21 to make up the company. Maybe youre experienced or this is a brand new experience for you, or somewhere in between! Sessions will be tailored to all experience levels and we will be grateful for your energy, enthusiasm and excitement to work and build together as creatives. Company members are encouraged to join as many sessions per term as possible, but there is no minimum attendance requirement. Some sessions will be capped to a limited number of participants. Were so excited to meet you! There is no audition necessary, and you are welcome to attend as many sessions as best suit you over the course of the term.
