I love South Ruislip because all the things you need in day to day life is close by..the tube station connects you to the central London and Heathrow airport connects you to the world which is just 40 mins drive. A lovely park is on your doorstep where you take your kids out to play, There are some fantastic schools for the kids. The grocery stores are not too far as well. There are some nice cafes and restaurants and the most important thing is its a very safe area, What else would any body need. I wouldn't live any where else.

Ruislip is a great area to live in. It's near enough to London to make day trips and commuting easy and reasonably affordable, yet it's surrounded by lovely green areas and has its own selection of shops and cafés for days when you don't feel like going too far. There's a popular farmers' market every few weeks and a choice of tube lines in the area. It's also got quite an interesting history with numerous buildings dating back to Tudor times or even earlier, and its own mediaeval barn (where the farmers' market takes place). The community is friendly and there are lots of good schools nearby too.

Sing and Sign (Harrow)St George's ChurchShell and I have been singing since I could talk and signing with children of all ages for the past 20 years. Sing and Sign classes are useful, fun, easy to learn and babies LOVE them too. It's a real winner! The moment when a child signs "milk" "more" or even "duck" for the first time and the delight when they realise they are understood is beyond comparison. Website |
