She is sent in secrecy and shame to St. Saviours, a Church of England mother-and-baby home run by a formidable Matron. Mary is set to work in the laundry where she meets tough-talking Queenie, delightful Dolores and naive Norma. The four of them bond over a love of girl-group records, which entertain and console them as the birth of their babies approaches. However, when Mary finds she is expected to give up her child for adoption, she begins a desperate fight. A beautifully touching and funny play punctuated by a brilliant 1960s song-and-dance soundtrack. Join stellar adventurers Dot, Dash and Minim for an interactive and rhythmical journey of physical exploration, strength, excitement and determination that requires the expertise of your baby. With a comfortable set that babies are free to explore, Laaaunch! is a non-verbal performance, filled with musical beats and comedy, where the babies can interact with the performers in their own way and in their own time. Every baby in the space is welcomed by the characters singing their names, and they are introduced to the other babies in the audience, creating an immediately welcoming and engaged space. Laaaunch! has been designed for babies up to 12 months old and must be no older than this at the time of the performance.

Adapted from Lizzy Stewart’s award-winning and much-loved book, join Nora on a musical adventure as she discovers dragonflies as big as her head, plants that can eat you (and your toy giraffe) whole, a polar bear that likes fishing and maybe, just possibly, a tiger in the garden. Explore the power of imagination as Nora discovers the wonders hidden beyond the shrubbery and her world grows around her. Enchantingly brought to life through puppetry, imaginative design and music.
