Jump off the tube at Tooting Broadway and straight to the bar! The beer garden is amazing. Definitely one of the best pubs in Tooting and South London.

  1. I have lived in Mitcham for 36 years. I love it for the schools which are all near to each other, nursery, primary and high schools. Easy access to shopping in Croydon & Tooting, train stations and buses for working etc. Access to corner shops if one runs out any necessary items. There is the Mitcham Common which convenient for locals walking and their dogs, riding & golfing. Beautiful place to live.

Originally a village in the county of Surrey, Mitcham is now a mostly residential area in the London Borough of Merton. Mitcham is located 7.2 miles (11.6 km) southwest of Charing Cross and has good transport links that include railway stations, Tramlink stops, day and night buses and coach services. Family-friendly and multicultural, the area offers affordable homes, great amenities, and enough green space to create a peaceful atmosphere. There’s a wide range of high street and independent shops, a leisure centre and sports clubs, a healthy selection of schools, many historic sites, and popular annual events.
