Amazing local pub perfect for an after-work drink.

Recently in Time Out as one of the best coffee shops of 2015, this family friendly, independent venue also sells South American street food and tasty breakfasts.

Amazing all day brunch menu, really good value, great service and family friendly. Highly recommend the salt beef with eggs benedict or the open-top Reuben.

Fabulous steak and a vibrant atmosphere - just as good as the sister restaurant in Clerkenwell.

An amazing park to take your dog for a walk, with an animal enclosure and a butterfly dome!

Abney Park

Both an arboretum and a cemetery, Abney Park is one of London's 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries built by the Victorians in the 19th century with beautiful grounds.

Freshly baked breads and pastries of all different varieties, plus deep-filled rolls and bagels to go.

The Haberdashery

A beautiful, vintage-style café serving yummy cakes and proper coffee. Great for brunch.

Ooh Loulou Cakery

Amazing selection of cakes and sweet treats. Worth trying the Oreo cupcakes.

L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele

Sister restaurant of the renowned original in Naples, Only two pizzas to choose from Marinara or a Margherita but wow!

Tangerina

Great breakfasts and lunches and the only café in the area to open early. And they have food from Brazil too! OMG, I am so excited that this is my new local!

"I love Newington Green because of the close community and village atmosphere. The proximity to Clissold and Church Street is handy, but Newington Green has most of what you need. This part of Green Lanes is really changing for the better and it's an exciting place to go now!"

"I live opposite wonderfully kept Clissold Park, which is great for running and taking a stroll around. There is a wide selection of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from when the mood or necessity takes you. There is a good library with friendly librarians, an annual literary festival, good bus links to central London and the proximity of London Overground is very helpful too."

"Fashioned on Stirling Castle, Stoke Newington Pumping station once supplied clean water to much of North London. Threatened with demolition in 1971, the residents got the building Grade II listed and it now hosts a very successful climbing centre!"
