“Brixton is such a vibrant area and has lots of energy. I have lived here since 1971! ”
Christian
“Great food, great transport links and some nice quiet areas and parks.”
Lucy
“I love the diversity of the area. That you can walk down streets and find beautiful artisan cafes and one-off design shops alongside Caribbean food stalls and lots of second hand shops. I love the architecture of the area with the Ritzy, library and city hall all showing remnants of an older Brixton. I love that you have access to some of the lovelier areas (in my opinion) in London, with Brockwell Park and its amazing views of London or Herne Hill and its lovely shops and cafes. The people in the area also make it unique. From the religious preachers outside of KFC to the steel drum players and the friendly flower man outside the station. Any walk through the area shows you something new and exciting.”
