If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can! The Richmond Rock Choir is led by choir leader Rebecca Thompson. Over the past few years Rock Choir has become firmly ingrained on the national consciousness, with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and commitment to community singing in towns like Richmond. With performances at prestigious national venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and sporting events such as the exceptional 2012 olympic torch events, you too can have the opportunity to be a singing star! Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there's a place for you in the Richmond Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about! The pieces are broken down so you are able to learn them and you can also download songs to practise at home. Its a great way to release the stresess of life. Come and Sing Carmina Burana
The Barnes Choir, conducted by Julian Collings, and accompanied by Elspeth Wilkes, invites you to Come and Sing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.
