Exhibition Tour: Shadowscapes
Join the exhibition team at Orleans House Gallery for a special tour of Shadowscapes: Heaney, JMW Turner and Quantum. The team behind the commission and production of this exhibition will take you through a deep dive of the thinking and themes behind Shadowscapes. Discover three original JMW Turner paintings, their context within Shadowscapes and why these paintings in particular were chosen from the Tate collection. Find out more about the artist Libby Heaney and the symbolism and themes she explores in her new works commissioned for Orleans House Gallery. This is a unique opportunity to meet the exhibition team, ask questions, and come away with a deeper understanding of Shadowscapes. Exhibition tours are free however, booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Exhibition tours will take place Thursday 27 November, 1pm-2pm Saturday 13 December, 1pm-2pm Wednesday 28 January, 1pm-2pm Thursday 26 February, 1pm-2pm Kindly note that the tour scheduled for 18 December has been cancelled.Read more
