Virgin Active, Repton Park

Not somewhere accessible to every local, but worth a mention all the same. The pool here is set within a converted church and is one of the most relaxing places to come and reflect upon your day...or just reflect on life.

Sheesh

Great Middle Eastern-style food, stunning venue and a fantastic atmosphere. Will certainly be going back! You can spend your whole evening here, as there's a cocktail bar with live music for pre or post-dinner drinks.

Golden Fleece

A hidden gem in Forest Gate Village overlooking Wanstead Flats, this pub has recently undergone a full refurbishment and has a huge beer garden at the rear.

Home to a variety of wildlife, Wanstead Park and its pond are fantastic on a lazy Sunday; take a stroll and feed the ducks and geese.

A fantastic Asian confectionary shop selling both sweet and savoury treats on Green Street, close to Upton Park Underground Station.

A down to earth vegetarian Indian restaurant, with tasty, inexpensive, healthy and authentic food.

We are very pleased to be starting up a new Bumps & Babies group every Tuesday from 1st October 2013 9.30am - 11.30am. This is being held in the newly refurbished Mothercare in Romford opposite Queens Hospital. There is a new 'Mumspace' facility where we will be meeting and there is even a lovely big Costa in store so you can grab a cuppa to bring up with you. Everyone is welcome no need to be a member.
