“South Bermondsey is quiet and close to the center”
Axel
“Rotherhithe is peaceful, green, well connected and well provided by shops, yet rental prices are still affordable.”
Georgina
“So close to work, and loving the Maltby Street Food market on weekends. Bermondsey street restaurants and galleries make every days a short journey feeling of holidays - between the amazing everything and peaceful neighborhood no need to go anywhere in London. My boyfriend and I moved a year ago and could not find a better area to live in. Nothing beats Bermondsey, I tell ya ! :)”

Rotherhithe is a district in inner southeast London and part of the London Borough of Southwark. It is located on a peninsula on the south bank of the Thames, facing Wapping and the Isle of Dogs on the north bank, and is a part of the Docklands area. It's next door to Deptford to the south east and Bermondsey to the west. Rotherhithe has been a port since the 12th century or earlier, and a shipyard since Elizabethan times. Although the docks were closed and largely filled in during the 1980s, and have now been replaced by modern housing and commercial facilities, Rotherhithe is still given a large part of its character by its former maritime heritage.
