Her band of RGGs bend the Country Music genre to their mighty will, blending soul, blues and honky tonk into a sound that is both unique and deeply rooted in tradition. Asa Martinson & the Outlet PPL sponsored London based 7-piece band jazz fusion (Rnb/Afrobeats). Led by Asa Martinson the group is inspired by legends like James Brown, Tony Allen, George Duke, and his mentor Julian Joseph. Their journey has taken them to some of the UK’s most iconic stages- this summer selling out Pizza Express Live (Dean Street), 91 Living Room and STEREO Covent Garden. As well as playing Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, and the Barbican-where they’ve refined their genre-defying craft. Asa’s experience with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where he trains gifted school pupils, reinforced his belief in the power of cross-genre music. At this early point in his career Asa is already using his experience in the music industry to support his community. With a mix of vocal and instrumental tunes, aswell high energy and interactive sets. Prepare for a night of unreleased gems, classic hits, and music to move your body and touch your soul!
