Why not explore the nearby areas of Finsbury Park, Archway, Holloway, Tufnell Park, Crouch End, Highbury, Dartmouth Park, Harringay, Highgate and Newington Green

"The original main route through Holloway was for driving cattle to the meat market at Smithfield. The route was in such disrepair by the late 1200s, that the Bishop of London built a new toll road that is now the route of the A1."

The Mackenzie Garden in Finsbury Park is a peaceful spot that I like to visit when I have the time.

Tollington Park quote

Vikki Broad

Daniel Burrell

North London remains for me the essence of London living...urban and innovative against a backdrop of centuries of history...
