Ches's Trattoria
During the day this place functions as a greasy spoon café usually full of builders, but in the evening it turns into an amazing, authentic, family run Italian restaurant. The food is to die for and because they don't have an alcohol licence, its BYOB!

Sunshine & Ravioli
A lovely café and lunch venue that is extremely popular with the local crowds. Owner Maurizio is a local character who knows everyone and makes a mean coffee.
"The world's first ever facility for the production of gunpowder was set up along the River Crane between Twickenham and Whitton. Unsurprisingly, explosions on the site were common and in 1758 one was felt as far as Reading!"
The homes on Eel Pie Island really make the most of their setting.
Adam O'Leary
Twickenham has a lot to offer, including many pubs by the Thames with gardens that open out right onto the river bank.
Greg Boxer
There are some fantastic views along The Embankment in Twickenham looking towards Eel Pie Island!
