The Teddy Bear's GroupSt Anne's ChurchTeddy Bears is a 'drop in' playgroup - no need to be a member and no waiting list, just pop along on a Tuesday morning. We charge £2.50 per child and we have a special baby room ('little teds') for mums with babies of under 12 months. We have playtime from 9.30 and snacktime followed by songtime at 10.45 or so. Pepe's Toddler Membership GroupBaptist ChurchWe are friendly small group maximum of 28 children. We are non profit-making membership based group. Our group is what we all create together. We have two rooms to run around and also small outside area. Boths sessions are carefully planned to meet children needs and interests. Each session includes free play refreshment for both adults and children messy/craft activity and a singing time with our Grandma The Puppet. Our Grandma has started to read a story too! In some sessions children can explore through tactile play and burn their energy in obstacle play. In other words to play with anything from puzzles books cars dolls duplo ride ons slides and more. It is a nice place where children can play interact or just run around. Mummies nannies and grandparents can have a chat and relax. We have a three parties a year when we all sit down and have a nice lunch together! If you drive you can park your car for free in church carpark. If you have any questions please get in touch. For children from the smallest age up to 3 and half years old. Older siblings welcome during school holidays (up to age of 5years old). Attending the group can: give parents/carers a chance to get support and advice, start children meeting and interacting with other children, and help prepare children for starting day care and nursery education. Open on Mondays and Thursdays 10am - 12pm plus some school holiday. New term from the 5th of September until the 18th of November 2013 with a small break on the 26th and 30th of September . We run 10 week terms. Note: We advise that you ring before planning a visit to check all these details are up to date. |

Basic EnglishWest Hill Children's Centre 4This is a service provided by South Thames College to teach parents basic English at either entry level or level 1/2 depending on the results from an assessment. It is aimed at parents who have little or no qualifications. Parents can: gain a recognised qualification, meet new parents, and learn new skills. Spaces are limited so please call to book a place.
