Guided House Tour of Reveley Lodge We are delighted to offer a guided house tour of Reveley Lodge. You can enjoy this unique property complete with its furniture and fittings and the stories to go with it. The tour ends with tea and cake. You will be contacted three days before the guided house tour with final details. Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to two weeks before the start date but not thereafter. Reveley Lodge is a large, Grade II listed, Victorian house, on Elstree Road, Bushey Heath, now run by a charitable trust, Reveley Lodge Trust. The property was bequeathed by its last owner, Mrs Eila Chewett to Bushey Museum which set up the Trust. The house contains pictures and artefacts associated with Eila Chewett's husband, Albert Chewett who came to Bushey from Canada to study at the famous Bushey Art School. For the early part of its life, Reveley Lodge has acted as a 'Gentleman's Cottage' - a small country house easily reached at the weekend from the owner's principal home in London. The Lodge has a two and a half acre garden managed by a professional gardener, assisted by a number of volunteers. The garden is open to the public on weekdays.

Guided by the White Rabbit, Alice encounters a cast of curious characters the wise caterpillar Absulum, the mischievous Cheshire Cat, humorous tweedle dum and tweedle Dee, a delightfully chaotic Mad Hatter with his tea party guests Hare and dormouse and even a garden of talking flowers. But in this Wonderland, whimsy is never far from danger as they are hunted by the card guards who report to the red queen. The red queen hunts Alice down to stop her of fulfilling her prophecy in defeating the queen. As the tyrannical Red Queen tightens her grip and the shadow of the Jabberwocky looms, Alice must discover her own strength. With the help of the gentle White Queen, she finds the courage to embrace her destiny and stand against the darkness. Blending the playful spirit of Lewis Carrolls original tale with the gothic fantasy of Tim Burtons vision, this reimagined journey through Wonderland is told entirely through dance a celebration of curiosity, courage, and the magic of finding ones voice. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Madness a band whose playful eccentricity, bold imagination, and unmistakable sound have delighted audiences for half a century. In this special production, their music intertwines with Alices journey through Wonderland, creating a one-of-a-kind celebration of curiosity, courage, and British creativity.
