His face is probably more famous than his name, and his stand-up has not only stood the test of time but forged ahead of it. Smith stands out among his generation for a willingness to keep pushing himself and experimenting with the new forms of comedic expression Todays hottest young comics still see him as an inspiration. Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE is a former British rugby league coach and professional player who will share stories from his remarkable career in the sport. He spent his entire professional playing career with Leeds Rhinos, winning seven Super League Grand Finals, three World Club Challenges, three League Leaders' Shields and one Challenge Cup with the club, and also represented both England and Great Britain at international level. Jamie was a long-standing trustee of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, a charitable trust working in the local community, and has served as the clubs Director of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion. He is the current Chief Executive of Leeds Rhinos.

Cinderella is an exciting community pantomimetelling the tale of Hardy Hall, the home of Baron Hardy and his daughter Cinderella.The Baron has fallen on hard times leaving his wife, the Baroness, VERY keen to raise funds to renovate the hall. Although Cinderella's 'ugly' step-sisters Posey and Primrose could use a makeover themselves! Will Prince Charming save Hardy Hall? Will Buttons raise the money needed? Will Cinderella go to the Ball? Directed by Kaia Barton. Written by Lee Hall IHDC welcomes all ages and abilities, whether you want to act, sing and dance or join our backstage team, help to create props and costumes, or work on lights and sound. Group rates available for groups of 10 or more people. All profits from the shows help to fund our drama club. Doors open 15 minutes before start time. There will be a tuck shop open before the show and during the interval and this is cash only. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying responsible adult.
