Warli is a Folk art originated in India in the state of Maharashtra. It uses geometric patterns like circles and triangles to depict and illustrate the daily life of locals living in the villages. Warli folk art is such a versatile and magnificent form of art style . Learn this fascinating art form which has taken its rightful place in todays creative activities and has become so popular with current generations. The art has changed its form from wall murals to Card Making , pot paintings, T-shirts designs, canvas and much more. The workshop would include children from 7 years to 10 years age group. They will learn the basics of the Art, how to draw or paint the Artwork on the materials provided . Its a satisfying experience for children to create something and make their own art work to take home.

Explore the world of thriller-writing in a 5-hour interactive workshop Whether you have yet to put pen to paper or are already writing your next book, the course will provide practical tips and advice, hopefully fuelling your imagination; providing further inspiration for your writing journey. There will be opportunities in all sessions to put pen to paper with exercises. Discussion will be encouraged and very welcome! David will look to cover the following subjects, which are key in most novels, but certainly in thrillers: - Character development - Plot - Location - The importance of dialogue - Action, whether physical or cerebral - High stakes - A clear threat - Twists

An enjoyable evening's musical entertainment from "Vocalese" who are a friendly and fun community choir based in Bracknell and Caversham, www.vocalese.club [//www.vocalese.club] Richard Whennell runsVocalese it is a friendly community choir open to anyone aged 16 and over, and we're all about singing: Singing for fun; singing for your health, both physical and emotional; singing to feel good and stay young! On top of that, we sound awesome! I can't easily categorise the music we sing as our stylistic range is pretty wide, Pop and rock, beautiful ballads, showtunes, barbershop, folk, light classical... the best thing is to come along and see what we've got going on at that particular moment! There is at least one concert performance opportunity each term and we do take part in other events in and around the area. We've even been to Germany to sing at Christmas markets over there with future trips planned. We've raised a bunch of money for charity too! The Royal Harmonics male a capella group and the "Marbled" ladies a capella group provide a varied and exciting evening of music spanning the years.

Jonathan Greenyer follows up his first ever singing concert given in Arts Week last year by chosing his favourite Cole Porter songs for this 2026 concert. The words to the songs will be projected onto a screen so you can sing along as well. Alongside Jonathan's singing performance is a selection of piano pieces by his long standing friend Helen Harding. Helen is renowned as a flautist and is now a full time music teacher who has recently taken up the piano. So on the piano Helen will provide some links between Cole Porter's music and classical music origins. Philip Wharton will be playing the piano for Jonathan's songs.
