For us this home is perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of Camberwell, Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill. Everything is a short walk away and yet the property feels nicely tucked away on a quiet street. Since we've been here Camberwell's independent cafes and bars have continued to evolve. The Arts College nearby means there's a nice bohemian edge to Church Street. There's even a brilliant Jazz Club in the basement of St Gile's Church! We also love wandering through Warrick Gardens to Bellenden Road for more amazing food options. You're also really spoiled with parks around here, with Ruskin near Denmark Hill Station, and Lucas Gardens literally around the corner. The parks are lovely, but having our own outdoor space has been the best thing about living here. Friends often invite themselves round on sunny weekends! The garden was designed to look attractive all year and be easily maintained. We have really loved living in this creative corner of South London.
