The Molesey Musical Theatre Production of Jack and the Beanstalk takes place at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse, Walton-on-Thames between Wednesday 15 and Saturday 18 November 2023. There will be a total of 5 performances including 2 on Saturday - midday and 5pm. Please let us know if anyone in your party is celebrating a Birthday or Anniversary, or of any other "Shout out" you may wish to share with the audience. Director & Choreographer - Claire Leonard Musical Director - Elizabeth Cooper Script by Alex Jackson Script kindly presented in agreement with alexjacksonpantomimes.com _The story begins_ with a widow and her son, Jack, who are poor and need to sell their cow for money. Jack takes the cow into town and is offered magic beans in exchange for it. When his mother sees he’s brought home beans instead of money, she throws the beans out the window and a great beanstalk grows into the clouds. Jack climbs the stalk in hopes of finding food. He comes across a town among the clouds and is helped by a magic fairy to find a giant’s castle (home to the giant who killed Jack’s father). Jack eventually steals a magic hen and gold coins from the giant. Jack also attempts to steal a harp but the giant wakes up from his slumber and chases after Jack, who runs down the beanstalk, and cuts it with an axe, causing the giant to fall and die. This serves justice to the giant and also teaches Jack to always behave and listen to his mother. Of course, all the usual Pantomime add-ons and embellishments are woven within the tale. Such Fun !

Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. Full of catchy songs, epic choreography, big laughs, and a message of believing in yourself, Legally Blonde is so much fun it should be illegal! Legally Blonde is being performed by an incredible cast of 11-18 year olds.

Mistaken identities, outrageous disguises, fake hotels, impromptu parties and wildly misplaced affections collide as everyone chases the real Paris and each other. Before long, the citys most glamorous courtesan, a millionaire Brazilian, and a houseful of over-enthusiastic servants are swept into the uproar. What could possibly go wrong?

She has been on Live at the Apollo and is a regular face on shows such as Roast Battle, The Stand-Up Sketch Show, The Mash Report, Russell Howards Good News, Alan Davis; As Yet Untitled, The John Bishop Show, and Mock the Week. MC: Maia Tassaliniwas a finalist in the BBC New Comedian of the Year 2024 Competition and a member of the prestigious 2025 Pleasance Comedy Reserve; she is already making waves on the UK comedy circuit and is a Soho Comedy Labs Plus alumni. Rory Marshall had a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025. He earned a review in Metro, alongside praise from Chortle and The Times for his beefy renditions of minutely observed men. The Scotsman also awarded four stars, and The Observer listed him as one of their breakout comedy acts this year. The show was produced by Country Mile, and directed by Will Farrell and Alex Cartlidge. Rorys television credits include Rose Matafeos STARSTRUCK, BBC sketch show ELLIE & NATASIA, and Baby Cows LIVE AT THE MOTH CLUB pilot alongside Jamie Demetriou and Tim Key Bar open from 7pm - and very reasonably priced! We support a number of local good causes, raising money and awareness around Surrey and as a choir we also join up with the other choirs near us to sing to support national charities such as Comic Relief, Missing People and Refuge with flash mobs, fundraising events and gigs.
