He was the recipient of the first ever Channel 4 Sean Lock Award in 2023 and won Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year in 2020. His TV credits include ITV2s The Stand Up Sketch Show and BBC3s Such Brave Girls. Lily Phillipsis one of the most exciting up and coming voices in comedy in the UK. In 2021, she reached the grand final of the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC One. She is a series regular on The Stand Up Sketch Show and The Stand Up Sketch Show Christmas Special (ITV2), and she recently starred in a new hidden camera show for E4 Digital as a fake podcast host. Her credits also include Period Dramas (BBC3), The Joy Of Missing Out (All4), and comedy shorts for Comedy Central Online. She has also debated at the Oxford Union. Headliner: Ahir Shah was the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner. He is a regular on television and radio and has performed stand-up on Live At The Apollo, The Now Show and Stand Up Central. Outside of stand up, Ahir has been seen on shows including Have I Got News For You, QI, Frankie Boyles New World Order, Mock the Week, The Mash Report/Late Night Mash, Guessable, Rob Becketts Undeniable and Catastrophe. Ahirs show Dots completely sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe and toured the UK ahead of an international release on US streaming platform HBO Max filmed at the Vaudeville Theatre. The show followed Duffer and Control which also sold out and were both nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show and subsequently toured the UK and overseas. Internationally, Ahir has played to sell out audiences at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Adelaide Fringe and Just for Laughs Montreal, and has toured in continental Europe and India. Arie Dakesian is a classical guitarist studying at the Royal College of Music, where he's currently pursuing a Master's degree in Performance with professors Gary Ryan and Christopher Stell. He's a Houston Family Scholar and a recipient of the highly sought-after Julian Bream Trust scholarship award, as well as several Armenian scholarship funds including the Ouzounian Trust and AGBU Scholarships. He was recently selected for the highly prestigious Tillett Debut Scheme 2024, which allows a two-year collaboration and a wide range of performances; this made him only the fifth guitarist to receive the award since the scheme emerged in 1995. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, to an Armenian family, Arie has since been exposed to a wide variety of music from an early age, which is woven into the very fabric of his music-making. This very much shows in his concert programmes as well as his debut album released in 2024. Recent engagements include performances in Kew Gardens, Kings Place, the Royal Albert Hall, St James's Piccadilly and Wigmore Hall. Arie Dakesian is supported by the Tillett Trust.
