The legendary Barnes Charity Ball is back this time celebrating all things Barnes with the title Proud to be Barnes. Having travelled around the globe with various different themes over the years, we are now looking to recognise and embrace all the wonderful talent and resources we have right on our doorstep here in Barnes, with contributions from local entertainers, musicians, caterers, photographers, DJs, printers and other local busineses. The Ball will once again take place in the beautiful setting of St Marys Church which will be appropriately adapted and will include a drinks reception, entertainment, Diamond Raffle as well as our fabulous live and silent auction prizes raising money for very worthy local charities. Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons Join us on a musical journey from your first day in the valley all the way to your arrival to the summit, with the brand new Stardew Valley concert Symphony of Seasons! Curated personally by Stardew Valley creator and composer ConcernedApe, Symphony of Seasons features a 35-piece orchestra performing the most memorable music from the game, and a screen above the stage playing gameplay footage plus original content created exclusively for this tour. Concert-goers can look forward to hearing the game's most cherished songs as they watch their farm grow throughout the seasons and explore some of the valley’s most memorable locations, from Pelican Town to the Skull Cavern, Ginger Island to Calico Desert, the Submarine to the Wizard's Tower and much more.

Young Riverscribes is a brand new version of a Young Company; a chance for anyone interested in performing and theatre making to have fun, challenge themselves and collaborate together. Young Riverscribes is a combination of classic young company skills sessions, and visiting professional workshops from partners including Drama schools, Casting agents, agencies and more. Sessions will support you developing skills and technique in voice, movement, character and text work. As part of the company youll be invited to perform at Burnt Orange scratch nights and upcoming projects. Who are we looking for? We are looking for anyone aged 14-21 to make up the company. Maybe youre experienced or this is a brand new experience for you, or somewhere in between! Sessions will be tailored to all experience levels and we will be grateful for your energy, enthusiasm and excitement to work and build together as creatives. Company members are encouraged to join as many sessions per term as possible, but there is no minimum attendance requirement. Some sessions will be capped to a limited number of participants. Were so excited to meet you! There is no audition necessary, and you are welcome to attend as many sessions as best suit you over the course of the term. Within just five years, the ensemble has garnered prestigious accolades including First Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna, International Parkhouse Award in London and International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria. In 2024, Trio Bohmo released a CD for the label Supraphon featuring works by Smetana and Schubert which was ecstatically received and won the Debut Album of the Year at the Presto Music Awards 2024. Engagements during the 2025-2026 season include the Trios New York City Debut and concerts throughout Canada and the USA, and multiple performances at the ISA Festival in Vienna where the trio is to be the Ensemble in Residence.
