What locals say about Finchley Central

“Church End is AMAZING. It's like a pretty English village, yet you're still in zone 4. The houses are big, beautiful and full of character. Residents take care of their homes (or have gardeners who do) and it's like Chelsea (where we used to live). Homes are expensive but worth it because you still get so much more for your money here. Moving here was the best decision we made for our kids. Best roads are Hendon Avenue, Dollis Avenue and St Mary's Avenue, as they are wide, quiet, have the biggest houses and the gardens are just beautiful - but if you can't afford those, the other roads are nice as well! ”

“Finchley,a desirable and pleasant for all,as its vibrant diversity, colour and atmosphere.”

“Classy, upmarket area, close to all the best schools in the country, large houses, great green space. It is rather expensive, but worth it if you can afford it. The people aren't snobby, just well educated, logical and open-minded. Hendon Avenue, Dollis Avenue and St Mary's Avenue in Church End are the best roads. Wait rose in Mill Hill is best for food shopping. Brent Cross can do with being demolished and a new Westfield erected instead. ”
