In the 70s, he toured with Ian Carr's Nucleus and won the Young Jazz Musician of the Year Award. In the 80s, he joined Loose Tubes and recorded with his own bands. His diverse discography includes albums like "Personal Standards" and collaborations on projects such as "Tides" with the Homemade Orchestra.
