Saxophonist, vocalist and composer bringing a fresh, electrifying sound to London's stages. With her debut EP launch at The Jago in December, she's sliding into Trades Hall with her trademark blend of northern dance culture, Leeds afrobeat energy, old-school soul and retro warmth.
Backed by a 7-piece powerhouse band complete with an all-female horn frontline Jemima's sets burst with groove, harmony and pure joy. After lighting up festivals like Wilderness and recent shows at the Jazz Cafe, this is a January performance you dont want to miss.
' Love Cloud
A sensational new seven-piece fusing roots reggae, RnB and Afro-Latin fire. Fronted by soul powerhouse Woloh and backed by a horn-soaked psychedelic groove machine, they channel the spirit of Sault, Talking Heads and Fela Kuti. Their last show upstairs at Trades Hall sold out theyre coming in hot baby!
The Living Room Collective
Blending funk, soul, jazz, electronica, and global afro-beat, they deliver soulful vocals, Moog synths, guitar, flute and trumpet harmonies, and bass-ukulele grooves. Think Herbie Hancock meets Vulfpeck, strolling with Fat Freddy's Drop before tea at Jamiroquai'stotally original, even in their unrecognisable covers. Music for the mind, body, and soul.
SHABBA DJs will be spinning their signature blend of deep cuts and straight up belters, pushing the groove on late into night.
