It’s a story for anyone who’s ever felt a bit confused, a bit left out, or a bit boxed in. Through movement, visual storytelling, humour and a touch of chaos, Boxed In explores the invisible rules of behaviour, the way people act and what others think you should do – and invites us all to imagine a world where everyone feels they belong. A co-production by Daryl & Co. and Half Moon, Boxed In is an exciting collaboration between a ground-breaking Disabled-led theatre company and the UK’s leading small-scale young people’s venue and touring company. What starts as the lovers' private escape quickly becomes everyone else's problem. Drawing from across Shakespeare's canon, this production offers the story in an entirely new light: taking lines from other works of Shakespeare to create new moments, dynamics, and even scenes.
