The annual festive get-together with the Friends of Valentines Mansion, whose members support the preservation and improvement of Valentines Mansion, Gardens and Park. Relax in beautiful surroundings, for a social occasion to celebrate the New Year. During the first part of the evening, pianist Olga Paliy will present an exciting and varied programme of music, playing pieces by Beethoven, Schubert, Debussy, Kosenko and Skoryk. Refreshments and a chance to socialise will follow, which no doubt is how the owners of this historic house spent winter evenings with their family and friends over the centuries. There will also be an opportunity to view the Winter Exhibition by the talented Resident Studio Artists at Valentines. We hope you will come along with your friends and family! All are welcome. Come and visit Santa’s Workshop, where Santa and his hard-working elves are busily getting ready for The Big Day. There is so much for everyone to do: all the boys and girls need to write their letters to Santa, and make sure the letters are safely put in Santa’s post-box. You'll then help the elves to get ready for their special Christmas party – help decide what songs they'll sing, learn their special dance routines, and join in their party games.
