One of the best kept secrets in London apparently. The TKTS booth sits in the middle of Leicester Square and is the official ticket reseller for all of London's West End shows. Left over seats are passed to TKTS a few days before each show and sold at a phenomenal discount - sometimes more than half price!

An institution over 100 years old, this stunning hotel is beautiful inside - you really are stepping back into a grander era!

There are now several adaptions of this restaurant. It started as a one-off and is now growing rapidly. The green chili cheeseburger with the deep-fried pickles and blue cheese dip come highly recommended!

After a busy day down Oxford Street, nothing beats a quiet escape to this hidden gem tucked in the heart of Marylebone.

Paul Rothe & Son

A fourth generation family delicatessen serving homemade sandwiches and lunchtime treats.

"The US Embassy is the only US Embassy in the world that does not belong to the United States. They wanted to buy it, but the Freeholder, the Duke of Westminster refused to sell and said he would only rent it. Infuriated, the American appealed to Parliament, but the only compromise on offer was that if the Americans returned all the land that was taken after the Independence War back to his family then he would sell. After the Americans realised that this would be most of Maine and New York, they agreed to a 999 year lease!"
