Doors from 2pm DJ, raconteur, author, producer, broadcaster and Fun Lovin’ Criminal, Huey Morgan - a modern day rock’n’roll Renaissance man - is many things to many people. In addition to being the decade-long host of one of the only specialist music shows on BBC Radio 2, Huey is the Lower East Side voice of Saturdays on 6 Music with his critically acclaimed, award winning show featuring music, new and old, from all four corners of the globe. He’s the man who joins the dots between funk, soul, disco, classic hip hop and rock’n’roll. Huey’s past is not any less significant either; as the former frontman of legendary 90s outfit ‘Fun Lovin’ Criminals' which is soon approaching its 30th anniversary, he is the man who played a huge part in this funk-fried indie bands journey in breaking big worldwide and selling over 10 million records. Now after countless DJ gigs across the globe, he’s focused his talent on his NYC Block Party; imagine Huey soundtracking cult Netflix show ‘The Get Down’ and you’re close as funk, soul, disco and hip hop jams get thrown into the mix battle style. Yet another creative outlet for Britain’s favourite New Yorker. Kendrick Jeru Davis, known as Jeru the Damaja, is an American rapper and record producer. Delightfully deadpan BARNABY SLATER headlines tonight's show plus 5 comedians carefully chosen for maximum laughs. Tickets can be reserved online for £12 (plus ticket agent fee) until 7pm on the day of the show. Door price tickets are £15. PLEASE NOTE: We are an intimate boutique comedy theatre bar, so TICKET HOLDERS MUST ARRIVE BEFORE 7.45 in order to get your drinks and be seated for the smooth running of the show and everyone's enjoyment. Anyone arriving after 8pm will interrupt the show and may be turned away. SEATING IS FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVED, so early arrival is recommended. PARTIES OF 3 OR MORE are strongly advised to arrive at 7pm so that you may be seated together. Fresh hot popcorn, sweets and snacks are available at the bar. We do not accept cash at the bar or box office, CARD PAYMENTS ONLY. Line-ups are subject to change. We are a woman-owned, gay-friendly, trans-inclusive venue where everyone is welcome. Our comedians are carefully curated to reflect our inclusive principles, and we ask that guests respect the comedians by not interrupting the performances. Hecklers will be removed with no refunds offered. Filming during the show is not permitted. We have installed a state-of-the-art ventilation system which delivers 500 litres of fresh air per second, making us one of the best ventilated small venues in the country. We do ask that if you are feeling unwell or test positive for Covid, please stay at home and we will be happy to reschedule your visit up to 3pm on the day of the show.

Hugh "Huey" Morgan is the frontman of the New York rock / hiphop band Fun Lovin' Criminals. Huey is also an author, podcaster, a radio presenter on both BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music and a much in demand club and festival DJ. His extensive record collection has seen him DJ around the world spinning the very best in Hip-Hop, Funk, Disco and stone cold classics.
