From raw first-timers to seasoned professionals, every act brings something different to the stage. You might hear your new favourite song or witness the next big star in the making. Every month is different bringing a new mix of voices, sounds, and stories but always good vibes. For performers: our open mic is an inclusive space to share your creativity on a professional stage. For the audience, it’s a front-row seat to the heart of our local scene. Presented in association with Storyden, Slough Music Service, Beat Routes and Together As One. For ages 16+ years.

To include wine, soft drinks and canaps Following our successful Summer Social last year at Lilies, this year with kind permission of the management at Stoke Park, we shall be holding the event in the pavilion, situated in the gardens at this prestigious venue. The site has been closed for the past five years following its acquisition by new owners. Extensive renovation work has been undertaken, and is still ongoing. Stoke Park is a world-class hotel set in a country estate, with a golf course, and it plays host to the annual Boodles tennis championship. The park was designed by Humphry Repton and is probably the best example of his work in Buckinghamshire. His features include an iconic lake and bridge with picturesque views. This will be a great opportunity to meet BGT Council Members and Trustees and find more about what we do and our future plans. It will also be a chance to see the work that has been taking place in the gardens with guidance from the Trusts planning advisors.

Knight, Lady, Princess, Townsfolk, King, Queen. This show is suitable for all ages. The performance starts at 3.00pm and the gates will be open from 2.00pm. Bring a picnic, low-backed chair or rug and dress for the weather. The performance will last 1hr 50 mins plus a 20 minutes (45 minutes into the show) minute interval. Please bring a blanket, rug or low backed chair and come dressed for the great British weather including sun protection if it is hot. All tickets are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless we have to cancel due to dangerous weather or force majeure.

Explore and get messy at Black Park! Relaxed Forest School family sessions for all! Join us in Black Pines Camp for some fun in the woods! We have a variety of activities for your child to go wild and many Forest School skills to learn about. This includes crafts, tools, campfire skills (seasonal), bug hunting, games stations, the digging pit, water play and more! What is Families Go Wild all about? 'Families Go Wild' sessions take place on Thursday mornings and sessions run from 10.30am – 12.00pm. These are sessions for all: Tots, Families, Home schoolers and children with special educational needs. This is a mixed aged group session suitable for 1-10 year olds. This is a relaxed session and you can turn up at any point during the session. There will be a themed activity each week, plus multiple other activity stations. The sessions are child-led, with the children being encouraged to choose what they would like to do to help them build on their self-esteem, confidence and independence. Towards the end of the session we will gather together for refreshments and have a sing song! We have a campfire where possible (October to May, safety/weather dependent). You can casually book the date(s) you'd like to attend, or block book the full half-term (6 sessions) to guarantee a place each week. We go ahead in all weathers - unless deemed unsafe - so please dress appropriately!

Immersion Theatre brings high-energy, outdoor musical magic to Black Park with a thrilling family Jungle Book adventure! Immersion Theatre are thrilled to bring their trademark energy to their wildly entertaining musical adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling family favourite, The Jungle Book! Filled with original music, audience interaction, and a host of larger-than-life characters, you are invited to join Mowgli and his friends, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, on a madcap jungle adventure as they meet and attempt to outwit a slithering snake, some cheeky monkeys, and the fierce tiger, Shere Khan! Funny, exciting and wildly entertaining, this AOOO-some musical will have you howling with laughter: It’s the perfect treat for the whole family! Recommended age: 4+ Approximate run time: Act 1 – 45 minutes / Interval / Act 2 – 40 minutes There will be refreshments available to purchase on the night. The Black Park Café next door to the event space will remain open until the interval. Please note that dogs are not permitted, with the exception of assistance dogs. Please note chairs are not provided, you are welcome to bring your own, or a picnic blanket. Performances are open air and continue in all weathers unless deemed unsafe. Under 3's go free! A free ticket is required to be ordered at check out in order for us to accurately keep track of numbers of attendees.
