Maddisun (Canada)
Born in the wilderness of Cranbrook, BC, Maddisun creates soulful songwriter-folk with rootsy rock energy-reflecting her small-town upbringing and big-star dreams. Her warm, magnetic stage presence has made her a standout in Canada’s indie folk scene. In 2025, she doubled her audience and played 60+ shows nationwide, including sold-out releases at Toronto’s Cameron House and Cranbrook’s Key City Theatre, plus a packed Vancouver show opening for breakout artist Pearl. Powered by fearless ambition, raw talent, and a pure artist heart, Maddisun unveiled her third album - The Pages (July 2025) selling hundreds of physical copies in the first month, an unconventional move to break away from digital mass generated music.
