Under the baton of the inspirational and charismatic Oliver Gooch, Cantorum presents an exhilarating performance of Handel's great masterpiece in the glorious surroundings of Eton College Chapel. They will be joined by a full instrumental ensemble and four professional soloists. Gabriel Moreno launches his six studio album, Nights In The Belly of Bohemia. Accompanied by The infamous Quivering Poets, he will be performing most of the songs of the record plus some old favourites such as Silly Old Dreams and Lena Kalinka. There will also be readings of the new poetry book with the same name. The entire album and the book are an ode to Bohemia understood as a place of resistance to the political farce and to the capitalist debacle. The songs yearn for deeper connections and more poetical realities. Expect a night of communal dreams, joy, longing, desire and a lot of movement in the psyche and in the shoulders. The Quivering Poets will include Juampi Mauro on bass, Richard Moore on violin and special quivering guest Juliet Garrett. Support to be announced. Performing on nylon string guitar and accompanied by The Quivering Poets, he creates a live experience that has been described as Taberna Folk - at once both energetic and intimate, anarchic and absorbing.

Join us for the first of our GSMC third Thursday of the month music nights with Indian Folk meets the Blues with Ajay Srivastav joined by Vinod Kerai on tabla. Ajay Srivastav is a critically acclaimed musician and song writer who reflects the life and lessons learnt as a British born artist of Indian heritage, with uplifting songs of protest and change. They will be joined on the night by Award winning guitarist Amrit Sond who takes guitar playing to another level and fabulous blues/soul duo 3times7. Doors open 7.30pm, starts 8pm. Early Bird tickets are £7.00 until 17th March and the £10.00 in advance and any remaining tickets £12.00 on the door.

Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'? The local Gerrards Cross choir is run by vocal coach Katy Seath. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Katy. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Arena, on top of the BT tower and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge. We sing in Gerrards Cross every week during term time.
