Every year we present a selection of the top shows warming up before heading North to the Edinburgh Festival. Your ticket entitles you to see both full shows for less than the price of one in Edinburgh. Fiona Allen White Lies After a sellout debut Edinburgh 2023 show Fiona Allen star of Smack The Pony returns with her new show White Lies. Fiona needs a perfect lie to avoid her pet hate of social gatherings. Running out of time and patience she encounters every obstacle a day can throw at her. It all threatens to derail her quest to find the perfect lie. She must confront her worst fear-her neighbours party. It's a fate worse than death and the clock is ticking. There is no reserved seating Downstairs. We can seat 70 and have 10 standing spaces. Your ticket guarantees entry, but if you want a good seat, please be with us by the advertised door opening time. After then, any remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis on the door at the advertised doors open time. Also please note that, as an intimate venue, we discourage large group bookings, so tickets are limited on this show to a MAXIMUM of 4 per person. We want everyone to enjoy the show. It’s easy to see why Kieran Hebden might be widely credited as the unwitting foremost purveyor folktronica. The DJ and producer better known as Four Tet has spent a career weaving analogue sounds into digital, creating some of the electronica’s most original and captivating music in the process. Yet any attempt to label Four Tet does a disservice to the mind-boggling array of influences and sounds that make up his music.

Insieme, Lauderdale House's Chamber Opera Ensemble in Residence present a series of Free Thursday Lunchtime Concerts, featuring a host of different musicians and pieces. All taking place in in the beautiful Long Gallery overlooking Waterlow Park.

Take a break on a Tuesday lunchtime and enjoy 45 minutes of free, gorgeous classical music performed live by our resident pianist Stephen Hose upstairs in the beautiful Long Gallery overlooking Waterlow Park. Stephen Hose trained at the Royal Academy of Music where he held a Vaughan Williams scholarship. He has had a varied career which has included performing chamber music and solo recitals as well as being Musical Director and pianist for a range of opera, musicals, plays and TV.

Nearest tube: Turnpike Lane (10-minute walk) Free street parking available from 6:30pm Event Information Hosted at the beautiful Salisbury Pub in the heart of Haringey, North London, these workshops blend traditional West African drumming with a hip, trendy & vintage pub vibe. The pub opens at 5:30pm, serving food until 9:45pm, making it the perfect place to eat, connect and drum together. About the Workshops These uplifting, inter-generational workshops are lively, inclusive and taught authentically by renowned and respected guest artists, carefully selected by Wooden Roots. The idea for these sessions was born from our collaboration with a couple of teachers at Haringey Music Service, who, like us, believe in supporting adults & young learners within the local community and inspiring creative education in a safe, welcoming space. We warmly welcome both adults and young learners (aged 816), who are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian. What to Expect Each artist brings their own unique style and flair to teaching traditional West African rhythmsfun, upbeat and deeply rooted in the rich culture of the Malian Empire. These workshops are designed for ALL LEVELS: Absolute beginners will be nurtured Experienced players will be challenged This is a space wherespecial guest artists, resident teachers and students come togetherto have fun, collaborate, network and learn.
